What in the world is software development and what does it mean for you?

Software development includes a few though important parts (defined by the SDLC):

• Design and Analysis
• Implementation(The actual coding.)
• Testing
• Deployment
• Maintenance and Support(Fixing bugs.)

All this to create fancy du-dads, mic-fix-its, and/or just your smartphone…. Which is apart of the IoT, you can read more about IoT in my blog post: Another Day, another hour…

At the end of it all, you come out with many forms of what can be considered a device with a UI (User Interface, though not always required for internal applications), the internet, some data, and logic.

Those that decide to venture into this field, will find there is just as much creativity involved as any other art form. Though proponent stands that this is discipline based on logic. If you are always willing to learn, have a heart for technology, this would be outstanding field for you. Once you understand the logic, you have some freedom with your design to create something incredibly useful to society.
